Emerging Adult Counseling

It's not easy! Transitioning into this life phase brings up a lot of questions, feelings, and thoughts.

Maybe you're feeling that you're not ready for this yet, or the concept of nap time suddenly sounds appealing, or all of those icons on your shirt makes it really difficult to do laundry.

Whatever it is, we are here to listen and to help you navigate this confusing and winding path.

Social Skills & Friendship Groups

Our social skills groups help children and teens ages 5 and up develop confidence, communication skills, emotional awareness, and meaningful peer relationships. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities and guided practice, participants learn how to navigate social situations, build friendships, and strengthen problem-solving skills in a supportive group environment.

Educational Consulting & Advocacy

Our educational consulting services help families navigate the school system and access the support their child needs to thrive. We provide guidance on IEPs, 504 Plans, accommodations, impartial hearings, advocacy, and school collaboration, working closely with families and educators to support each child's academic, social, and emotional success.

DBT skills training focuses on learning the skills necessary to help you:

  • Build awareness about yourself and increase your focus

  • Communicate effectively

  • Tolerate distressing events

Executive Function (EF) Coaching & Groups

Executive function coaching helps children, teens, and adults develop the skills needed to manage daily responsibilities more effectively. EF coaching may be helpful if you find challenges with organization, planning, task initiation, completing tasks, time management, and resisting urges.

We also offer executive function and homework support groups, providing a structured environment where students can develop effective study habits, stay on track with assignments, and benefit from increased accountability.

Couples & Family Therapy

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of support in our lives—but they can also be a source of stress, conflict, and disconnection. Whether you are navigating communication difficulties, recurring arguments, parenting challenges, life transitions, or family conflict, therapy can help you build stronger, healthier relationships.

We utilize evidence-based approaches, including the Gottman Method, to help identify ineffective patterns, deepen connection, and create more fulfilling relationships.

Neuropsychological Evaluation

Every child has a unique learning profile, and one size does not fit all. A neuropsychological assessment will evaluate your child's cognitive strengths and challenges, as well as:

  • Attention (ADHD) and/or Executive Functioning

  • Specific Learning Disabilities

  • Giftedness

  • Testing for School Accommodations (IEP or 504)

  • Mood Disorders

As practitioners, therapy can help us build our own insight about how our own dynamics, histories, and training can affect our work with clients. Therapy can help therapists both grow as individuals and as clinicians.
